Homalodisca coagulata

Homalodisca coagulata (Say), to 12 mm, large brown to black sharpshooter, dorsal portion of the head, pronotum, and scutellum is dark brown to black with yellowish speckles, from beneath, the clypeus is large, and yellow-orange with light brown strips running across, eyes are yellow with dark speckles, abdomen is yellow and black.  Also see Homalodisca insolita.
